Drawing musical inspiration from such early rock and roll bands like Black Sabbath, Lynyrd Skynyrd, and Jimi Hendrix, as well as the modern hard rock/metal groups such as Down, Black Label Society, and Mastadon, Blood Runs Cold have focused their time and energy on hammering home their style of what is known as "Groove Metal". Blood Runs Cold was started in 2005 by Guitarist Dave " DUrg" Ljubanovich and Drummer Kyle Kwiecien. What once started out as a jamming cover band, soon evolved into something more. A short time after the bands conception, Blood Runs Cold had started to write its own origional material. The band would soon complete their lineup with the additions of Nathan Stokes on Vocals, and Sean De Faria on Bass. With the lineup solidified, Blood Runs Cold took to the Toronto live music scene. The band have recently released their first 4 song CD entitled " Anatomy of an End" which was recorded in early 2008 at HIVE Studios in Hamilton, Ontario. The band is currently playing many shows in support of the disc. Blood Runs Cold may be coming to a city near you.... so keep your ears to the ground!! B-R-C
